The Hunter team took to the runway this month in celebration of all things fashion, partnering with Fashion Council Western Australia to deliver the 2019 Perth Fashion Festival.
Returning to the heart of Perth’s city, FCWA unveiled a new festival format, featuring runway shows at Yagan Square’s Fashion Paramount and a decentralised Fashion Central featuring free pop-up events, shows and more within shopping precincts dotted throughout the CBD. With a renewed focus on WA talent, the ten-day festival saw proudly WA labels such as Morrison, Steph Audino, Reign The Label, Empire Rose and more.
As a WA business ourselves, Hunter was proud to be the PR Partner of the 2019 Perth Fashion Festival, bringing our expertise in media, publicity and influencer engagement to promote and position the 2019 Perth Fashion Festival as the leading fashion event in the city. In addition, Hunter was a Presenting Partner of the Industry Forum series, with Managing Director Nic Moody hosting public events exploring the WA fashion industry.
The Hunter team was proud to manage strategic communications, media engagement, pre-festival media and influencer hosting, media accreditation and on-the-ground media management throughout the festival. Strategic media placements were sought to drive ticket sales and event buzz, including a Perth Fashion Festival first: the appointment of three Guest Editors for the Festival.
Through our work, Hunter Communications secured coverage in key publications such as The West Australia, Business News, 6PR, Channel 9 and Channel 10. Hunter Communications also conceived managed a Program Launch event involving fourteen lifestyle influencers, generating over 73 media clips and a reach of over 2.6 million.
