The Update | June 23

HELLO FROM THE HUNTERS It's been a busy first half of the year at Hunter. We have worked on a wide range of exciting projects for our clients - including launching new venues, hosting media and influencer events, and supporting a number of large corporate clients with strategic advice on issues and change management projects. We have also welcomed some new team members and have taken on some great new clients. You can read more in this month's update from the Hunters.
HUNTER TRENDS Why your staff are your most important stakeholder: The growing importance of your Employer brand Attracting and retaining great staff is essential and, in a time, where we have seen terms like the “great resignation” and “quiet quitting” being bandied around, it has never been more important to engage your workforce. However, it is more than that. Your employees are your brand’s strongest advocates – particularly those who work on your front line or have direct client contact. Read more about how you can engage your staff to create brand ambassadors in our latest blog, here.

HUNTER INTRODUCES A 9-DAY FORTNIGHT As a contemporary workplace we have recently launched a trial of a 9-day fortnight for the Hunter team. We pride ourselves on being an employer of choice and attracting the best people to work for us. Our team are hardworking, always focused on the best outcomes for our clients. As a way of acknowledging the effort and time they put into their days, we are trialling a rotating roster of every second Friday away from Hunter HQ. WHAT WILL THIS MEAN FOR OUR CLIENTS? Because we are a tight team and are always across each other’s accounts, we have a strong process in place that client accounts are well handed over before each Friday and the team on their rostered Friday off, are also available via phone should we need them. The only thing you might notice is that someone else in the Hunter team might help you out on a Friday outside of your usual contact. Bonus is you get the benefit of the skills and expertise up close of another Hunter! The team still completes the same work each fortnight too, just in a compressed number of days. With our team well-rested each fortnight, we are confident it will be beneficial for our clients too – those creative ideas will flourish! If you have any questions about the trial, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
THE HUNTERS HAVE BEEN BUSY
Our Hunters have been hard at work, from strategy development, corporate copywriting and content projects to bar launches and paella!
WELCOME TO ARARA

Hunter has been working with hospitality legends Sneakers & Jeans WA to bring to life their brand new venue ARARA. The mega-hangout is bringing the South American heat to Queen Street, with multiple bars, a rooftop garden, colourful laneways, and an impressive new 60-person restaurant, Tupí, all into the old Flour Factory heritage-listed building. Hunter supported the team through media and influencer relations, event concepts and management, as well as content creation. We celebrated the official launch, with an exclusive media preview and launch event in the all new space.
MIGUEL MAESTRE TURNS UP THE HEAT

Congratulations to our client Stockland for the launch of their first all-electric community in WA, Wildflower. To celebrate, brand ambassador Miguel Maestre ran a cooking demo to show future residents the benefits of all-electric appliances in their home. The interactive demo featured international cooking on induction cooktops. Chef Gogo focused on Indian flavours and Miguel shared his signature paella, but the star of the show were the fresh scallops caught that morning at Rottnest Island. Hunter accompanied Miguel for a breakfast radio tour in the morning, coordinated content capture during the day and supported on-ground throughout the night.
